Betterwood Woodgrain Coatings are supplied by Nippon Paints one of the largest paint companies in the world. Nippon's range is recommended for exterior use where ultra-durable coating performance is required.
Betterwood warranties for 10 years from original owners purchase Betterwood Woodgrain Aluminium against warping, splitting, rotting and splintering.
Over the 10 year Warranty Period. Betterwood reserves the right to repair or replace at its discretion beyond normal wear and tear with no cost to the purchaser excluding freight and labour costs. All warranties are subject to the terms and conditions noted within. Betterwood does not warranty the product against any design or installation of Betterwood causing movement and subsequent damage to Betterwood or utilising Betterwood where it does not adhere to local building or council codes. Betterwood does not cover damage to its woodgrain surfaces due to inappropriate application. Colour variation may occur and is not deemed a fault or warrantable point. Such as normal hardwoods timber grain varies due to the density of the grain, allowing variation of the base colour to vary the finished look. Betterwood is like real wood in this respect. This warranty does not cover any damage or material failure due but not limited to normal weathering of product, normal ware, staining of product surface, accidental or intentional damage, damage by hail, fire, flood, lightning, wind, flying objects, earth quake or other acts of God. Chemical pollutants, neglectful maintenance, reasonable fading, misuse or abuse, excessive heat temperature differentials, modifications or alterations in any matter what so ever.
Damage from packaging is not warrantable. The packaging is an aid in transportation only and should be removed to avoid attaching itself to the product.
The original receipt is required for any claim outlining the product purchased and its cost to validate its purchase and its supplier otherwise this warranty and any claim in its entirety are void. The warranty is not transferable.
Product Care
The maintenance of Betterwood is similar to looking after a new car. Harsh abrasives and high pressure cleaners, paint thinners, alcohol based products should be avoided as they are harmful to the finish. Hose down regularly and wash with warm water and mild PH detergent with a soft cloth and through rinse every 6 months to remove airborne salts, dirt, and pollutants is all that is required if you live in standard conditions. If you live by the sea or industrial areas cleaning once a month is required.
